Monthly Favorites: May 2013

Hey, friends! The beginning of May feels so long ago, doesn't it? Well, at least that means it's time for my May favorites! I decided to include some non-beauty items in there, too. Just to spice things up, and to show you that I am a real person who does things beside apply makeup. :)

Skincare:

Olay Night of Olay Firming Cream ($6 ~ 2oz) 

I absolutely love this moisturizer. I've been using it for years, and though I try new things, I always come back to this. I haven't found a thick cream that moisturizes nearly as well, yet doesn't over-moisturize my T-Zone on days when my combination skin decides that on a day it's going to be a little more oily. It's my favorite night time moisturizer and without it, my face will feel really tight when I tr to smile come the morning! You can find this at any drugstore near you.

Hi, everyone! Today I'd like to do a fun little tag I've seen on a few other beauty blogs. Don't worry: it's much shorter than the last one I did! Feel free to do it in the comments below. I'd love to read your answers! :) 

1. Greed - What are your most expensive and inexpensive beauty items? 
I don't know if this counts since it is a skincare tool, but my Clarisonic Mia 2 costs $149 on HSN, where it was purchased. Technically it was a Christmas gift so it was free, but it's still the most expensive beauty item I own.

Outfit of the Day: 5/16/13

Hey, friends! It actually felt like summer today back on Long Island, so I decided to take advantage of the warm weather and bring out my shorts for the first time this season! I just thought I would show you guys what I was wearing today, in case you're curious about who the girl behind the computer screen is. :)

Now that school is over for the semester and I'm back home, I'm able to take time getting ready again since I don't have to rush around everywhere, and it feels good!

Ipsy Glam Bag: May 2013 Review

Hey everyone! Today I'd like to show you this month's Ipsy bag. I'm really excited to share it with you, because this looks like the best bag that I've seen in awhile. And it's just so spring! I mean, the theme is "Spring Fling" after all.
