Influenster: Spring Fever VoxBox 2013

Hey, everyone! Today I'd like to show you what I received in my Spring Fever Vox Box from Influenster this month . It just came in the mail yesterday and I'm so excited to share it with you!

For those who don't know, Influenster (non-affiliate link) is a website where you can earn points for talking about something you enjoy. I mainly concentrate on fashion and beauty-products, and by reviewing products, answering questions. and just generally being active, I've earned enough points to qualify for the current VoxBox! It's filled with fun goodies to test out, and it's completely free! :)

Now, on to the box~

I received five items total in this box, all deluxe sample or full-size. How exciting!

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant ($4.59) - Let's be real. Every deodorant claims to be "invisible" but they never are. However, this one really is invisible, since it's a clear gel! It's also cool and refreshing (I've never used that word for deodorant before...) so I think it's great for summer. I currently use Secret's solids, but I might switch to this!

NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm ($2.99) - THIS STUFF TASTES SO GOOD! It's also relatively moisturizing. If you are expecting a lot of shine and color, this is not the product for you, as it is a lip balm. I think it's a fun lip balm to keep in your purse, for a little moisture and a tint of color (and I will do just that!). Also, it has a little imprint of an apple on it! How cute is that? (My camera decided to focus on the stone patio beneath it, but you can still make it out).

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure ($7) - I'm not one for press-on nails, and especially not now since my nails are weak. I found that the nails I was given were just a tad too narrow for my nails, but I wide fingers (and thus wide finger nails) so I'm sure they would fit the majority. I found that the nails weren't ridiculously long and didn't require filing, which is nice. These also come with a "prep pad" to wipe your nails with first so you get rid of all of the oils/polish/etc. I'm still not a press-on nail person, but I would recommend these to someone who is (especially since their prints are really cute!).

OSiS Rough Rubber ($20) - This stuff is so strange, in the best way. It really is rubber; if I press on it, it just bounces right back! I think this would work amazingly for short hair for that "rocker-chic" look. However, I have very long hair, and I am so not rocker-chic. I still wanted to experiment with this, though, so I put some on the ends of my hair. It really makes each strand piecy and textured, and it stays for a long time. If have short hair and you want a messy texture, you should try this!

Tastykake Kandy Bar Kakes ($4 for a 3-pack ~ $1.33) - These are delicious. I was actually a little too excited about this. They're like little portable cakes: cake in the shape of a candy bar. These are really good. The little fat kid in me was jumping for joy--chocolate and peanut butter is a favorite combination of mine. They also come in other flavors, like S'mores (which I will definitely be checking out in the near future).

Box Value:
Secret Deodorant $4.59
+ TastyKake $1.33
+ Osis Rubber Paste $20
+ Broadway Nails Press-On Manicure $7
+ NYC Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm, $2.99
Total value of box: $35.91 (wow!) All in all, my favorite products were the Tastykakes and the NYC Lip Balm.

If you're interested in receiving boxes like these, check out Influenster. I get nothing if you sign up with this link, other than satisfaction that people who enjoy trying out products for free are getting that little itch scratched.

Did you get this spring's VoxBox? If not, are you interested in trying any of these items this spring?

With love,
Sam
