The FOREO LUNA Cleansing Tool: It's For Your Face

Hi, friends! I bet some of you are wondering what this weird-looking pink thing is, right? No, it's not something you'll find in a sex shop (get your mind out of the gutter). It's a skincare tool called the Foreo Luna, and it's to be used on the face

I've been using this product since February, so this review is honestly way overdue (but at least I've tested it enough, right?). I talked about this little gadget in my March Favorites and promised to write more about it, and that time is now.

The Power of Two: Elizabeth Arden Skincare Review

The Power of Two: Elizabeth Arden Skincare Review of Superstart Skin Renewal Booster and Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Caplet Serum

Hi, friends! I can't believe it's been a week since we last blogged it up! Sure, I've been on social media, but it's just not the same. Real life took over this week, so I haven't been able to write a full post. But I'm back! With an in-depth review of not one, but TWO products, so hopefully that makes up for my short absence. :)

Today I'll be reviewing two products sent to me by Elizabeth Arden: the Superstart Skin Renewal Booster and Flawless Future Ceramide Caplet Serum. There was no stipulation to it, no "You must review these," but I've been using them for a few weeks and I wanted to share what I thought about it. So let's jump into everything!

Review: StriVectin Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner

Review: StriVectin Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner

Hi, friends! Wow, it's been awhile since I've done an in-depth skincare review, huh? Well, look no further! Today I'll be reviewing a product I've been testing out for the past couple of weeks: the new StriVectin Advanced Retinol Pore Refiner. This is the first product from StriVectin that I've tried, but the brand seems to know what they're doing so I have high hopes.

I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Review: Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes

Review: Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes

Hi, friends! Today I'm here to talk to you about the new Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes. You might have seen the facial cleanser or other Naturals products at the drugstore, but Neutrogena has recently expanded their line to include these wipes, so I wanted to check them out. Full disclosure: I received these for free from Influenster to test these out, but that doesn't really impact my opinion of them at all. Click here if you would like to see my disclaimer/policy information about products that are sent for review.

Review: Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes

To promote these wipes (and save the planet, I guess), Neutrogena has partnered with the Nature Conservancy for their Wipe for Water Challenge (aka #WipeForWater). The goal behind this movement is to get people to conserve water by washing their faces with these wipes instead, since they are advertised as not needing to be rinsed off. It's quite smart of them, I think. If you go to their page and pledge to face your face with these wipes for at least three days, it'll donate $1 to the Nature Conservancy. I'll be honest with you by saying that I had good intentions to participate in this challenge, but I failed on day one (more on that later).

I think it's a little funny, since you're producing more waste in the environment by using and throwing away these wipes, as opposed to using a liquid cleanser, but who am I to judge? Though I kind of laughed. It's a little bit funny. Being environmentally-conscious is hard!

Brand Overview & Review: Core Clarity Skincare

Brand Overview & Review: Core Clarity Skincare

Hello, friends! As you may have noticed, this blog has been down for a few days at various domains. But now, officially, all roads (previous URLs) will lead you here! How exciting! There are still some minor changes that need to be made, but I'm really happy to say that it's all (slowly) coming together.

But enough about boring business stuff. Today I'd like to share with you a relatively new skincare line from a company called Core Clarity. I was sent these products to review, but that won't impact my opinions in any way.  I've been testing these every day for two weeks, so let's get started!

Review: Borghese Fango Ristorativo Mud Mask

Review: Borghese Fango Ristorativo Mud Mask

Hi, friends! Today I want to give you an in-depth review of Borghese's Fango Ristorativo Mud Mask. It was included it as a "wilted rose" in my February Favorites, so I suppose you can guess how this review is going to turn out. I just think it's such an odd product that I wanted to give you all more than just a few sentences about it. But enough about that, let's get to the good stuff!

Review: Modere Beauty Box

Hey, friends! Today I wanted to share with you a cool new beauty box by Modere. They make a little bit of everything, from skincare to vitamins to laundry products, and they've just launched a beauty box program. I've never seen anything like it before, so I wanted to share!

Review: Boscia Luminizing Black Mask

Greetings, friends! I have another review for you today. Today I'll be talking about the Boscia Luminizing Black Mask. You might have seen it in my Total Beauty Mystery Collection for June 2013 unboxing (aka The Total Crapbox), but like many products that I receive, they go into the stash until I'm ready to take them out and give them a good, solid try. I used a skincare regimen from Boscia awhile back, so I was excited to try this mask. Without further ado, let's get on to the review!

Review: Adovia Intensive Anti-Wrinkle Cream

Hello, friends! I hope you had a nice Halloween. Now that it's starting to get cold in Boston (we went from having a prolonged summer to living in 46 degree weather), it's time that I start changing up my skincare routine. Usually, in the colder months, I like to be armed with a heavier moisturizer that can restore some hydration to my dry skin. After testing this product out daily for two weeks, here are my thoughts on it:

(Psst: I did a review of one of Adovia's eye creams back in July, so check that out if you're interested.)

Review: Adovia Dead Sea Mineral Eye Gel

Hi, friends! I haven't done a legitimate review on this blog in a stupidly long time (I blame the tags -- they're so addicting!) so today I bring you a skincare review. I'm always on the lookout for an affordable eye cream, since whenever I look at department store prices I kind of want to vomit. After testing the Adovia Dead Sea Mineral Eye Gel for two weeks, here are my thoughts on it.

Brand Overview: Solscents (+Giveaway!)

In a beautiful, idealistic world, no one would go without sunscreen. Whether it be winter or summer, rain or shine, everyone would protect their skin with an SPF of at least 15. No one would get sunburned and everyone would be happy.

Unfortunately, not everyone likes to wear sunscreen.

Enter: Solscents.

Sample Review: La Mer Creme de la Mer

Hey, friends! Today I wanted to review a rather "controversial" product for you. I talked about it briefly in my Evening Skincare Routine, and you'll see it again later in the month in my monthly empties post, so in case you were interested in learning more about this moisturizer, look no further!

At over 1600 reviews on Makeup Alley and an almost 50-50 split on people who love it or hate it, the original La Mer Creme has always intrigued me. When I got a sample redemption card in a style magazine I was reading, I was so excited to finally try this famous (or perhaps infamous) moisturizer.

This product has quite a lot of back-story behind it, so let me start from the beginning.

Sample Review: Freeman Beauty Face Masks

Hey, friends! Today I wanted to share a few face products I've been trying out by Freeman Beauty. I'm always curious and looking to try new things!

I was sent a variety of samples featured in Freeman Beauty's "Fresh Face Forward" set, including their Pink Grapefruit Facial Exfoliating Scrub, their Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask, and their Mint & Lemon Facial Clay Mask. I received two of each: one for me and one to give to a friend (though if I really liked them, I figured I would keep them both for myself ;) )

Review: Seventh Generation Boosts Soothing Skin Serum

Hey, friends! I'm here today to share with you my review of the Seventh Generation Soothing Skin Serum, as well as some of my #AllNaturalStyleSecrets. I was accepted to do this challenge by Lucky Magazine. Their online community hosts a number of different fun challenges that you can check out on their website. Lucky Magazine also posted my review to their website! If you want, you can look at it here (and maybe give me an upvote if you liked it; I'll get a prize if I get the most!)

Disclaimer: I received a free sample of this product from Lucky and Seventh Generation for use in connection with this blog.

Sample Review: Korres Wild Rose Moisturizer

Hey, friends! I've been trying to use up some of the samples I have lying around (I'm a freebie hoarder, it's kind of a problem), and I just finished up a packet of the Korres Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturizing and Brightening Creme. So, I thought I would share what I thought with you!

Review: Clarisonic Mia II

Today we're talking about the Clarisonic Mia 2 Sonic Skin Cleansing System ($149). I received this as a gift from my mother a few months ago for Christmas (thanks, Mom!) and I find that it just does wonders for my skin.
