Summer Beauty Wishlist 2015

Hi, friends! It's certainly been feeling like summer here in Connecticut (at least due to the humidity, if nothing else) so today I wanted to share with you my summer beauty wishlist! I've rounded up all things makeup, skincare, body, and nails that I've been drooling over.

Shoutout to ShopAtHome.com for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own, obviously, because otherwise why would I have a blog?

What's ShopAtHome.com? Well, ShopAtHome.com is an website that offers coupons and cash back deals on other stores. They have a ton of websites to choose from, including Sephora, Macy's, Victoria's Secret, HSN, and more than 55,000 (!) others. Right now they have a great deal going on at Sephora that gives you free samples and 4% cash back. And it doesn't cost anything to sign up! You just get free stuff and money back for things you were going to buy anyway. Like, I don't get why people don't use this site.

I took the liberty of going through and adding this 4% cash back on all of the products in this post, so if you want to order anything from Sephora, all you have to do is click and it'll automatically be applied!

Okay, enough about that. Let's get on with the show!

  1. TOO FACED | The Little Black Book of Bronzers ($49) - My bronzer collection is sorely lacking, and I think this would do the trick! This has mini-sizes of Too Faced's eight bronzers: Sun Bunny, Snow Bunny, Beach Bunny Milk Chocolate Soleil, Chocolate Soleil, Dark Chocolate Soleil, Pink Leopard, and Endless Summer. They have a variety of finishes and shades in here, so if you don't find at least one you like, I'd be surprised. My only complaint is that I wish they did a better job of catering to different skin tones.
  2. TOO FACED | Sugar Pop Eye Palette ($36) - This is a limited edition palette that Too Faced released for summer, and I'm in love with all of the bright colors! I don't know how much I would use it during the rest of the year, but summer is the time to go wild and crazy!
  3. BITE BEAUTY | Luminous Creme Lipstick Duo in Tangerine/Lingonberry ($12) - I've heard so many things about Bite's lipstick formula that I just really want to give them a go. This duo is pretty inexpensive for a product sold at Sephora, and you get two bright shades that are perfect for summer!
  4. BENEFIT COSMETICS | Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP ($20) - I'm a sucker for cream eyeshadow all year long, but I get especially low-maintenance with my makeup in the summer. I love how you can just swipe it on with your finger and go. RSVP is a pretty champagne color that would work well for everyday, and nicely complement a bright lip and bold lashes.
  5. COVER FX | Custom Cover Drops ($44) - I've never seen a product like this before! These drops are meant to be added to your current products, and you can decide the amount of coverage you want by how many drops you add. You can add it to your primer, moisturizer, BB cream, or foundation. It's expensive, but a bottle will last you at least a year, since you only need about 3 drops for full coverage foundation. I do not have time for foundation in the summer, so I would be happy to add just a drop of this into my daytime moisturizer and run out the door. They also have a great variety of shades (for those who are curious, I think I'm G20, which is for fair to light skintones with golden undertones).
  6. DEBORAH LIPPMANN | Glitter Nail Polish in Across the Universe ($20) - I have been obsessing over this nail polish for over a year, and I really just need to own it. Paying $20 for nail polish is ludicrous, but look how pretty it is! I know there are a lot of indie nail polishes on Etsy that do this sort of thing, but I haven't really seen anything else like it in stores. The closest thing I can think of is Orly's Mermaid Tale, but that doesn't look the same.
  7. SEPHORA | Formula X Nail Polish in Hercules ($10.50) - Sephora's Formula X polishes are supposed to be great and long-lasting. Hercules is a bright, summery pink, which my collection is lacking since my Sally Hansen leaked all over my nail polish back two summers ago (oops).
  8. URBAN DECAY | De-Slick Oil-Control Makeup Setting Spray ($30) - After discovering how life changing makeup setting sprays are last month, I'd really like to give this cult-classic a go. Is it really worth $30? I want to find out!
  9. STILA | Convertible Color in Lillium and Sweet Pea ($25) - If you've been a reader of my blog for awhile, you'll know how obsessed I am with the Stila Convertible Colors. They just give such a natural, beautiful glow to the skin that makes you look radiant. Plus, it's a cream, so it takes merely seconds to apply, which is great for summer.
  10. HOURGLASS | Ambient Bronzer in Radiant Bronze Light ($50) - Everyone and their cat has talked about how amazing Hourglass powders are, and now Hourglass has come out with matching bronzers! These bronzers contain swirls of their ambient lighting powders, so you still get that radiant "glow from within" look, but now you'll also look summery and bronzed! I don't wear bronzer for the majority of the year, so it might not be the best investment, but that doesn't stop me from putting it on this list!

  1. SUPERGOOP! | Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream SPF 37 ($45) - This has been my go-to eye cream since I first tried it in my July 2013 Sample Society Box. Very few eye creams have SPF in them, which is weird, since many eye creams are anti-aging (and sunscreen is the #1 most important factor in anti-aging). I use this every morning, and will continue to use it daily!
  2. SEPHORA | Sun Safety Kit 2015 ($30) - This kit is released by Sephora every year with different products. With a value of $155, it's not shocking that it's already sold out online. I don't know if they'll be restocking, but they might have some left in stores!
  3. ST. TROPEZ | Self Tan Bronzing Mousse ($32) - I've heard great things about this self-tanner. It's a mousse-like texture and gives the skin a bit more color than other self-tanners. For when you want to look like you came back from vacation, this should be a good choice!
  4. FRESH | Brown Sugar Body Polish ($38) - I've been really satisfied with the products I've tried from Fresh so far, and this is one that I have yet to get. In order to get a close shave and prevent ingrown hairs, exfoliating beforehand is important, and this sounds like a perfect scrub for that. Plus, it smells like brown sugar, so you can't go wrong.
  5. TARTE | Play It Safe Essentials Set ($24) - I've been wanting to try more Tarte products since I got my mother their Christmas gift set two years ago. This looks like a great place to start, since it has things I know I already like (ex. their Maracuja Oil) and things I've been wanting to try (like their Park Ave Princess Bronzer). It also comes with a bronzing serum, self-tanner, and a tanning face towelette.
  6. ESTEE LAUDER | Bronze Goddess Rollerball ($25) - Estee Lauder rereleases this fragrance every year for summer, and though the packaging always changes, the scent remains the same. This is like a grown-up version of the Bobbi Brown Beach perfume. It smells like coconuts and vanilla and flowers and citrus and everything else that's warm and summery.
  7. JOSIE MARAN | Argan Skincare Ritual Set ($24) - I've liked Josie Maran's original argan oil for years, and I'd love to branch out and test more of her line. This is like a mini skincare regimen, which includes her Cleansing Oil, Daily Moisturizer SPF 47, and Pure Argan Oil. Sign me up! Just because it's summer doesn't mean oil is a bad thing!
  8. TARTE | Brazilliance Skin Rejuvenating Maracuja Face and Body Self Tanner ($39) - I have heard great things about this self-tanner! Some self-tanners can make the skin look orange, but this one is supposed to be good. I also like that it comes with the application mitt, though I don't know if it would last through the whole tube of self-tanner. It depends on how many full body applications you get from the bottle, and how gross the mitt gets.
  9. SEPHORA | Triple Action Cleansing Water ($20) - Cleansing waters have exploded in the beauty world. They've been around for awhile, but it seems like everyone is talking about them now, and I see this one talked about all the time. They're good for taking off makeup and general cleansing! Will people still use makeup remover after trying these?

What products are on your wishlist this summer?

See you later Sammi the Beauty Buff
